Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Cleveland, OH, providing dedicated 1-on-1 care for a high school student. This contract position begins ASAP and extends through June 3, 2026, with approximately 35 hours per weekthe exact schedule to be determined. The nurse will accompany the student throughout the school day, including transportation on the bus to and from school, ensuring consistent support and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care as a 1-on-1 nurse for a high school student.
- Accompany the student during daily school activities and transportation.
- Monitor and respond to health needs and possible behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the students well-being throughout the school day.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Current LPN or RN licensure.
- Proven experience working with 1-on-1 students, particularly those with mental health or behavioral disabilities.
- Ability to adapt care plans based on students specific needs.
- Strong communication and observational skills to work closely with educators and support staff.
Location and Work Environment:
- Position based at a single school building in Cleveland, OH.
- Full-time, scheduled for roughly 35 hours weekly with hours to be finalized.
- The nurse is expected to provide care both in school and during bus rides.
