Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Stepdown (Night Shift) | Cleveland, OH 44106

This travel nursing opportunity supports a team within a large academic medical center caring for complex cardiac patients, including advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and dysrhythmias, as well as patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion.

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,910–$2,010/week

• Experience: RN experience in cardiac stepdown or med-surg cardiac preferred
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (verification required during onboarding)
• Clinical Competency: Medical/Surgical RN competency
• Core Skills: Strong assessment skills, rapid recognition of clinical changes, and comfort caring for higher-acuity cardiac stepdown patients
• Work Style: Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced academic medical center

• Deliver safe, evidence-based bedside nursing care for adult cardiac stepdown patients
• Closely observe patient status and cardiac condition; communicate and escalate changes promptly to the appropriate clinical team members
• Support complex cardiac populations, including patients with VADs, pacemakers, and defibrillators
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide timely, patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately per unit standards and policy
• Promote patient/family education, safety, and discharge readiness throughout the shift
