Description:

This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery.
The typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients, as well as post-op bariatric surgery patients and other general medical/surgical patients.
Please note that the unit has available step-down beds.
These beds are not dedicated or reserved and will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down patients.
While there is an effort to ensure step-down patients are assigned to the unit's staff, it cannot be guaranteed and travelers may have to care for step-down patients.
