Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN with at least 2 years of recent Level III or IV experience, valid OH or compact RN license, and advanced certifications for a night shift position.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit on a special delivery team,

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00pm to 7:30am,

• Requires experience in both scrub and circulating roles within Level III or IV L&D units,

• Care for mothers and newborns in a high-acuity setting,

• Expected to work at least every other holiday,

Job Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license in hand,

• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery experience at Level III or IV facility required,

• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel,

• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required and must be active,

• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation,

• No open background check cases or license issues accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include providing advanced care for laboring patients, including scrub and circulating duties,

• Assessment testing required during orientation with only 2 attempts allowed,

• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate,

• Annual and pre-start online training modules must be completed, recorded via Silkroad,

• Fingerprints and badge pickup required onsite before start date,

• Must not have worked at facility or within the health system as a permanent or per diem employee within the past year,

• Assignments may not exceed 18 consecutive months; a 6-month break is required before new assignments,

• Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from nicotine screening requirements,
