PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in a progressive care unit. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage their care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing.
• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments to be completed during orientation.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for submission.
