Registered Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Medicine

University Hospitals is looking for talented experienced nurses to join the compassionate care team of Northeast Ohio’s Only Level 1 Pediatric Emergency Trauma Center.

Children are treated at the Marcy R. Horvitz Pediatric Emergency Center at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. As the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Cleveland, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is equipped to handle the most serious emergencies involving children.

• We provide emergency care to infants, children and adolescents up to age 18

• We provide trauma center care to infants, children and adolescents up to 16

• We provide care to young adults who are still under the care of a pediatrician, or who have certain chronic conditions diagnosed in infancy/childhood

Full time and varying shifts available including:
Evening/Night Rotation OR straight Night. All positions require both weekend and holiday coverage.

• YOU will provide safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
