Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
Location

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts, 3 - 12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
Job Description
We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will possess a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license and must be able to work at least every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and ECG rhythms
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at the time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation
- One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty is required
