Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a current OH or compact RN license and specialized pediatric experience.

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a major hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, 3 shifts per week
• Pediatric patient population, caring for patients from infancy through age 25
• Involvement in epilepsy monitoring and the administration of inotropes
• ECG rhythm recognition and EKG interpretation required
• Must be able to work every other holiday as scheduled
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• Assignments at Cleveland Clinic locations cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month wait required before returning
• Lotus scheduling system used for submitting hours
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Active unrestricted OH or compact RN license required and must be in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent pediatric nursing experience in specialty required prior to travel assignments
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with EKGs and inotropes required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHHS) certification preferred
