Tower 8 is a 30 bed Trauma Unit in the Level 1 Trauma Center on Cleveland’s Eastside. Our patients include Trauma Activations–from the ED, PACU after surgery, the TSICU, and also transfers from other hospitals. Trauma.

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
