Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment requiring 18 months of recent specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults requiring both medical-surgical and cardiac telemetry care
• Assignments are 3x12 hour shifts with day and night rotation (7am–7:30pm/7pm–7:30am), shift may be variable based on operational needs
• Traveler required to work at least every other holiday
• Must complete and pass rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month waiting period required before returning
• Rotation between shifts may be required to meet hospital needs
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand
• A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• A minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in this specialty prior to travel assignments
• Current certifications in AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation is required
