Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Position is in a Med/Surg Tele unit at a hospital setting
• Work schedule is 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotation (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am); shifts may rotate to meet operational needs
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments must be completed during orientation
• Travelers must not work more than 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and must wait 6 months before returning
• Candidates will use Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked
• Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday
• Testing on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate will occur during orientation and must be passed

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty required before travel assignments
• Current certifications: AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
