Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital-based Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adult Med/Surg and telemetry cases
• Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am), with possible variable scheduling to meet operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Uses Qualivis – Lotus for timekeeping
• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location
• A minimum 6-month break is required before returning for another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
• Team members must demonstrate competency through required assessments during orientation

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation
