Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring recent specialty experience and rotating shifts.
Responsibilities- Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- 3x12-hour shifts with day/night rotation (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am); shifts may be variable to meet hospital needs
- Traveler is expected to work at least every other holiday
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation
- Assignment duration at any Cleveland area location is limited to 18 months, with a 6-month waiting period before returning
- Travelers are scheduled using the Qualivis – Lotus system
- Holiday coverage is required for assigned holidays
- Two professional references are required for job consideration
- Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
- 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel assignments
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation
