Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

• Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am), with possible variable assignment to meet hospital needs
• Expected to work every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments required during orientation
• Assignments at this health system may not exceed 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month gap before a new assignment
• Qualivis – Lotus system used for submitting hours worked
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
• Two professional references are required for consideration

• Active Ohio or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty prior to travel assignments
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from AHA or American Red Cross
