Overview

The Marketing Specialist manages the marketing efforts for a group of commercial real estate brokers to improve their marketing presence for various properties and listings both on and offline. They are responsible for creating marketing collateral that includes property brochures, broker opinions of value, offering memorandums, etc. and interacting with others in the organization to meet marketing and clients’ needs. The Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing & Operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate critical deal-making activities and materials, including proposals and property marketing materials
  • Coordinate with other internal and external team members based on the needs of the broker
  • Support timeliness of deliverables
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Property Marketing Coordination
  • Attend strategy sessions with brokers and other team members to create and publish marketing materials within a specific timeline
  • Creates brochures, maps, eblasts and other marketing materials using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Constant Contact and other software programs as appropriate
  • Maintain and enforce company branding standards in all marketing documents, such as tour books, property flyers, and brochures
  • Create graphics and print material necessary for open houses, events, etc.
Business Development Back Up
  • All aspects of new business development proposals from conception and design to coordination of print production, such as graphic presentations, marketing proposals, property surveys, providing maps/aerials and coordinating with Finance & Research Analyst for necessary information
  • Coordinate with Managing Director on business development needs
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated experience should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing or related field
  • Or similar combination of education and experience
  • Experience creating and editing marketing materials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently or on a team as needed
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude to solve problems and navigate through obstacles

Position Details: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Independence, Monday through Friday. Salary: $50,000
