Job Summary
An established manufacturing organization is seeking a driven and analytical Chemical Engineer to join its operations team in Bedford, Ohio. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to work closely with ownership to improve production efficiency, increase output, and optimize equipment performance within a growing manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Full-time, On-site role
Process Optimization & Improvement- Analyze and improve chemical manufacturing processes related to beauty and personal care products.
- Evaluate current equipment performance and production workflows to increase efficiency and overall output.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and operational costs.
- Support initiatives focused on scaling production volume and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
- Work directly with ownership to assess manufacturing workflows and determine process implementation strategies.
- Provide analytical insight to support data‑driven operational and growth decisions.
- Contribute to long‑term strategic planning related to production expansion and process enhancement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Process Simulation Software (e.g., CHEMCAD).
- Basic to intermediate proficiency for modeling and improving chemical processes.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., Maint Wiz AI CMMS).
- Basic proficiency for equipment performance monitoring and maintenance scheduling.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate closely with leadership and contribute to strategic decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
