Do you thrive on interpreting a blueprint and turning raw stock into exacting tooling? At Howmet Aerospace’s Tempcraft facility (Engines Products – Cleveland Operations), 3960 S. Marginal Rd., Cleveland, you’ll construct molds and dies that meet the strict tolerances our aero engine and industrial turbine components demand.

• Create and execute plans for building molds/dies directly from design drawings.
• Run manual machines with a primary focus on vertical milling (Bridgeport) and surface grinding.
• Operate saws, manual grinders, EDM wire and sinker (Sodick, Agie Charmilles), and a vertical lathe as needed.
• Inspect your own work using handheld measurement tools; maintain very close tolerances.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Programming throughout the process.
• Manage several builds simultaneously while adhering to Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR standards.
• Maintain and use your personal tools and toolbox.

• 2nd shift:
  Monday–Friday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
• 3rd shift:
  Monday–Friday, 9:00 pm – 5:30 am

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience machining multiple metal types.
• Understanding of speeds, feeds, step‑downs, and cutting tools.
• Proficiency with handheld metrology tools and reading measurements.
