Position Summary

With direct supervision, responsible for participating in development opportunities to learn the various aspects of the EHS function at Parker Hannifin.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire knowledge of various EHS departments' operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow.
  • Observe work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands‑on projects and/or special assignments.
  • Learn and assist in development of EHS systems and processes focusing on the areas of safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain communication with program coach/mentor (if assigned) to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.
  • Attend related training (if applicable) and apply training in work assignments.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related EHS field such as:
    Engineering, Science or EHS Equivalent program.
  • Ability to work in‑office 40 hours per week in Mayfield Heights, OH during Summer 2026.
  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of EHS and manufacturing assignments.
  • Working knowledge of environmental and safety concepts and demonstrated application.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
