** General

Position Summary:

** The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement, storage, and control of all materials and supplies within the Adalet facility, serving internal Power/Industrial customers. This role involves executing all aspects of warehousing operations, including storing, pulling, staging, and receiving materials based on work orders, pick lists, established procedures, and verbal instructions. A fundamental part of the job includes using and interpreting shipping and receiving documentation, performing inventory control (counting, verifying, and recording material), and logging transactions within a general warehousing or ERP System.

The handler is expected to operate various material handling equipment such as lift trucks, forklifts, and cranes to safely move and position loads.
** Essential Duties:
*** Use carts and hand equipment to move and store materials.
* Count, verify, and record material received into warehouse areas.
* Check stock against appropriate personnel; store material and record location.
* Pull material, count, verify quantities, note part number and quantity discrepancies and notify supervisor.
* Fill in packing slips per instructions.
* Prepare materials on skids as necessary; attach order and stage for easy access.
* Receive Shipping and receiving documents.
* Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisor.
* Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
* Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.

* Education and Experience:

*** High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
* Over 6 months previous experience preferred for new employees.
* Perform 1 year of transaction activities.
