We are seeking a Production & Warehouse Manager to lead production and warehouse operations at its Mentor, Ohio facility. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and team performance within a modern manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end production and warehouse functions while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop Managers and Supervisors across production and warehouse operations
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and engagement across all shifts
- Build a flexible, data-driven workforce capable of operating in a technologically advanced manufacturing environment
- Drive digital transformation initiatives using Smart Factory tools, digital dashboards, KPIs, and real-time performance data
- Partner with Continuous Improvement leadership to embed CI culture, fast-response problem solving, and Six Sigma methodologies on the shop floor
- Oversee all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow planning
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory standards, SOPs, and documentation requirements
- Lead production planning and execution to meet customer demand, quality standards, and performance targets
- Monitor production metrics and adjust plans proactively to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or similar)
- 5+ years of experience as a Production Manager or 5–7 years in a manufacturing supervisory role
- Experience in chemical manufacturing strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading Smart Factory or digital manufacturing initiatives
- Strong ability to analyze KPIs and use real-time data to drive operational decisions
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach teams through change and modernization
