Technician: Massillon OH Paper Mills

We are looking to hire a technician to help support our business at paper mills in Massillon, OH. The type of work will include lab tests, data collection, equipment maintenance, monitoring equipment, equipment installation, and working well with mill personnel (our customer). On‑the‑job training and support will be provided by the local Solenis team and Solenis corporate personnel.

• Mechanical skills. Experience working with tools and repairing equipment.
• Experience in a paper mill or other manufacturing plant would be a plus.
• The chemical programs involve pumping liquids through piping, hosing, and tubing. Experience with plumbing and pumps would be beneficial.
• Experience conducting lab work and using Excel spreadsheets would be a plus.
• Working well with others and being respectful.
• Working safely and professionally.
• Good communication skills.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment, with short‑term exposure to hot and cold areas, industrial noise and wearing ear protection.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Plumbing/mechanical/electrical skills. Knowledge and ability in at least one of these areas. On‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel) is preferred, but can be trained on the job.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; team support will be provided.
• High safety awareness—ability to complete safety training, follow safety policies and work in a safety‑oriented manner.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $57,000.00 and $95,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
