Scheduled Shift
Hours:
Monday to Thursday - 6am-4:30pm
The Assembler will be responsible for assembling parts and components according to blueprints, diagrams, and specifications (process and procedure) into a finished assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements Duties + Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine assembly procedures.
- Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Inspect assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving to resolve assembly issues.
- Affix labels to packaging materials as needed.
- Fill out production documentation accurately and completely.
- Record daily labor activities timely.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Proficient in using hand tools like wrenches, drills, and sockets.
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
- Efficient work ethic in fast‑paced environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Openness to learning and adapting to new processes.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- The physical demands for this role require an employee to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling or feeling, and reach with hands and arms. Additionally, the employee may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities needed include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
