CNC Grinder Operator

Hiring for 1st & 2nd shift.

Applicants must be in their current position for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions.

• Set up centerless grinder machinery.
• Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Move completed material to next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Education
:
One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

Experience
: 6 months – 1 year related experience or training.

Specific Skills & Knowledge
:

• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
