Welding Instructor

Minutemen Direct is recruiting for a Welding Instructor on 2nd shift for a large fabrication company. Hours are M/TH 3:30pm-2am. Starting pay is $28.00-$32.00 based on experience. Must have at least 3 years of fabrication/welding experience in carbon, stainless, and/or high alloy steels.

• Use our welding institute curriculum to assure the success of the employee's in a specified time frame.
• Develop welders in a formal welding institute setting as well as developing skill sets on specific projects.
• Promote an atmosphere of team members safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
• Exhibit all core values when interfacing with fellow team members and customers.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the fabrication and welding of carbon, stainless, and/or high alloy metals.
• CWI and/or CWS preferred
• Proven ability to develop the skills and certifications of others.
• Deep understanding of blueprints, welding joint designs, and NDE/NDT.
• Experience qualifying, writing, reviewing, and assigning welding procedures.
• Capacity to simultaneously balance multiple projects, requirements, and deadlines.
• High School Diploma or GED (HSD/GED)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
