Boltmaker Operator

Title:

Boltmaker Operator Shift: Third shift, Monday - Thursday from 7:00pm - 5:00am Salary: $22 - $30 based on experience. $2.00 shift differential Boltmaker Operator Role

Our client is seeking an operator to set up and operate machines while recording production data and troubleshooting issues as necessary. This person will be responsible for producing quality parts per specification to meet customer requirements.

• Set up and operate Bolt Makers in a timely manner
• Perform machine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Set up wire drawer and begin feeding wire process
• Use gages as required for quality specifications
• Complete SPC documents and process paperwork per production requirements
• Check for first piece approval before proceeding with production
• Maintain machine area cleanliness and check oil reservoirs regularly
• Assist with material handling and move tooling as required

This position reports directly to the third shift Supervisor.

• Possess High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
• Interpret blueprints and utilize basic measuring tools
• Hold working knowledge of SPC, gauging, pointer, and roll thread sections
• Maintain ability to stand or walk for a full shift and climb stairs
• Obtain Forklift Certification per client standards
• Commit to working overtime as needed
• Communicate effectively and work well as a team player
