First Shift General Helper

• Operating a forklift while following all safety regulations.
• Following all factory GMPs to ensure compliance with all internal and external standards.
• General cleaning and housekeeping of production areas to ensure safety of employees and safety, legality and quality of product. This includes:
  • General sweeping and vacuuming of production areas to remove product buildup on the floors, equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Removal of trash, waste and recycle before shift end and as needed throughout shift or when instructed by the supervisor or management.
  • Any specific cleaning tasks as requested by the supervisor or management.
• Staging materials as needed throughout the shift. This also includes staging all materials for the next shift.
• Relieving other positions during breaks, lunches or in times of need per supervisor or management request.
• Ensuring the washroom is clean, organized and free from buildup throughout shift and before end of shift. This includes:
  • Chemical cabinet locked and secured.
  • Floors cleaned, sinks free from tools and debris.
  • All tools hung properly.

• Manually lifting 50-70lb bags, boxes or tubs and moving pallets as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in a processing facility or in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work overtime.
