Join us as a Machinist (2nd Shift) and help deliver on our purpose and achieve our goals. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.
Hours:
4:30 PM–1:00 AM (2nd shift). Salary: $20–$26 /hr plus $1 shift diff.
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and conventional machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining samples to close tolerances
- Read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
- Use machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
This is a fast‑paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self‑motivated, and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn, and enthusiastic in the face of challenge.
- HS diploma or GED required
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Previous shop experience – a plus
- Technical/vocational training in a related field – a plus
- Willing to train the right candidate
NOTE: This position requires access to export‑controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
