Welder

Overview

Minutemen Direct is recruiting Welders on 2nd shift and the weekend shift for a large metal fabricator in Cleveland, OH. Pay starts at $22.00 out of a vocational program, and goes up based on skill level and expertise. Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding various parts in different materials.

• Weld various parts in different materials.
• Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma).
• Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
• Welding of carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels.
• Experience with FCAW and GMAW spray transfer.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience welding thick to thin structural members.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Vocational School—preferred, not required

• 2nd shift hours: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
• Weekend shift hours:
  Fri, Sat, Sun 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
