Welder (TIG) - 1st Shift

AT&F is hiring a Welder (TIG) - 1st Shift in Cleveland. Build large complex fabrications for submarines and related components as part of our team.

The Goals And Challenges Of This Role

  • TIG welding and fabricating on custom parts
  • TIG Welding of Stainless Steels, C-276, Inconel 600 series
  • ASME Code welding and Military Specifications
  • Reading and interpreting custom blueprints and drawings from customers
  • Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy-fuel & hand plasma)
  • Follow lean principles as well as safety and quality standards
  • General welding and shop duties as needed
What You Should Bring To This Role
  • Demonstrated success in TIG welding
  • Desire to constantly improve your welding abilities
  • Desire and ability to use shop math
  • Must be able to read and understand job instructions
  • Experience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer
  • Experience in Pipe fitting
  • Experience in welding of Carbon, Stainless, or Nickel based alloys
  • Strong overall mechanical aptitude
  • HS diploma or equivalent
