• lead new projects tracking cost, time and clients’ requirements;
• determining ways to minimize operating costs;
• improves manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout;
• maintaining all documentation for products, such as work instructions and operational procedures;
• may collaborate with colleagues on issues like cost projections and reduction;
• prepares product and process reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends;
• lead and coach production personnel on process, equipment, and analytical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement;
• may train new team members;
• manages information flow for production planning;
• participates in the elaboration of the technological procedures and the working instructions used in the manufacturing sector;

• knowledge regarding manufacturing technology and equipment;
• knowledge regarding work instructions and specifications;
• knowledge regarding consumption standards;
• maintenance notions;
• knowledge regarding specific quality / safety / environment standards;
• communication and team work skills
