About Medical Directors at Med VetThe Medical Director (MD) partners with the Hospital Director (HD) to lead the hospital’s Medical Services teams. The MD, who reports to a Regional Medical Director, oversees all specialty and emergency doctors, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and drives the delivery of best‑in‑class care to Med Vet patients.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and empower caregivers.
- Serve as overall leader for Emergency and Specialty services in partnership with the HD.
- Lead doctor hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management.
- Ensure efficient, safe, and compassionate patient care workflows.
- Manage doctor scheduling, department meetings, and doctor‑face communications.
- Collaborate with the HD to provide resources to the Clinical Services team.
