About the RoleThe Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join its executive team. The successful candidate will be the operational leader, responsible for creating and implementing strategies that optimize manufacturing processes, ensure operational excellence, and deliver financial efficiency. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability, with the ultimate goal of aligning operations with business objectives and long-term strategic plans.
The Vice President of Operations will also be tasked with leading a high-performance management team, driving productivity, and surpassing business objectives. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or business administration, with an MBA being a strong plus. A minimum of 12 years' of relevant manufacturing operations management experience, including at least 3 years' in a senior management role, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-site operations, financial planning and analysis, and experience with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, 6S, and Six Sigma. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. The role demands a leader with a commitment to the corporate mission, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
