The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of a multi‑shift 750k sq/ft distribution center management, freight management, and load planning across Growscape. This role will drive efficiency, service excellence, and cost optimization through strategic network design, warehouse consolidation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will ensure seamless coordination between operations, transportation, and customer service to support company growth and deliver superior customer experience.

• Oversee all distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and load planning.
• Lead the design and execution of a multi-site warehouse consolidation strategy to optimize service levels, cost structure, and network efficiency.
• Develop and execute the long-term logistics strategy in alignment with overall supply chain and business objectives.
• Ensure operational excellence through consistent performance management, process standardization, and effective utilization of technology and automation.
• Direct domestic and international freight operations (inbound and outbound), optimizing carrier performance, routing, and freight spend.
• Partner with procurement and carriers to negotiate contracts and ensure service quality and cost competitiveness.
• Lead load planning and route optimization to improve delivery accuracy and reduce transportation costs.

• Implement lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance safety and quality.
• Utilize data analytics and KPIs to measure performance, identify trends, and drive data‑driven decision‑making.
• Introduce best practices in warehouse layout, automation, and technology (e.g., WMS, TMS, slotting optimization).
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and supervisors across multiple sites to ensure operational excellence and high employee engagement.
• Build a culture of accountability, safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Partner with supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure end‑to‑end fulfillment excellence.
• Support business growth initiatives, product launches, and seasonal demand through proactive logistics planning and flexibility.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi‑site operations and warehouse consolidation projects.
• Strong understanding of freight management, load planning, and transportation optimization.
• Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
