Event Manager / Planner
We at Eastbrook Healthcare Center are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activities Director to oversee and coordinate a vibrant and engaging program of recreational and social activities for our community. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting well-being, fostering connection, and enhancing the quality of life for our members. The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a variety of activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.

Program Development:
- Design and implement a comprehensive calendar of activities that includes arts and crafts, fitness classes, games, social events, and educational workshops.
- Assess the needs and interests of the community to create programs that enhance participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers to expand program offerings and resources.

Event Coordination:
- Organize and oversee special events, parties, and seasonal celebrations.
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, equipment rental, catering, and marketing efforts for events.

Leadership and Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and support activity staff and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the activities budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Seek sponsorship opportunities and grants to support activities and events.
5.
Safety and Well-Being:
- Ensure all activities and programs comply with safety regulations and best practices.
- Promote inclusion and accessibility within all programs.
6.
Evaluation and Reporting:
- Assess the effectiveness of programs and activities through participant feedback and attendance metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on program success and areas for improvement.
- Pay:
Negotiable (Salaried) - Full-Time Shifts
- 40 hours a week
- Location:
Cleveland, Ohio
- Must be a Certified Activities Director
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Nursing Home Facility
