Division Controller

We are looking for a Division Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

As a Division Controller, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations for a division of the organization. This leadership role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, management experience, and the ability to partner with senior leadership on strategic financial decisions.

• Manage divisional accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for the division.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy and planning.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience in accounting leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
