• Must have proven operations management or supervisory experience

The Materials Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing manufacturing materials operations and strategy to ensure the achievement of plant goals. This position will be responsible for demand planning, inventory management, and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in sales, inventory operations planning, inventory management, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage aspects of supply chain management to include: production planning, master scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics
• Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
• Forecast material needs while maximizing the utilization of the current inventory
• Determine the best course of action to improve distribution efficiency
