Technical Services Technician

Overview

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the inspection, evaluation, disassembly, and decontamination of technical equipment primarily used in, but not limited to, the semiconductor field. This person performs detailed cleaning of electronics and electro-mechanical equipment utilizing specialty chemicals and mechanical processes to remove unwanted contamination. The technician will have the ability to work closely with a multicultural team in a fast paced environment.

• Ensure all required documentation is thoroughly completed in a timely manner, including inspection and evaluation documentation, materials recording, defect reports, etc.
• Ensure work instructions and quality control measures are followed closely on every item.
• Communicate effectively with management, logistics and administrative teams, and office personnel.
• Follow company policy and foster positive work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills
• Experience in semiconductor desired, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs on occasion
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to arrive promptly for scheduled shifts
• Ability to travel on occasion (10%)
• 40 hours plus overtime, as needed
• Ability to wear specialized safety and protective gear
• Strong written and verbal skills
