As a cleaner, the responsibility is to keep the premises of the building in clean and orderly condition. Duties can be performed collectively, or a team member could perform just one duty in a building.

• Clean and polish (fixtures, surfaces, and trim)
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Buff floors in some facilities as needed
• Clean rugs and mats
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Empty trash and transport it to the correct disposal area
