Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Porter for apartments in Edgewater and Shaker Heights
. These properties need someone who takes genuine pride in keeping buildings and grounds clean, well-kept, and welcoming for the people who live there. The work you do each day helps residents feel ’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and attentive to the details others might miss. You’ll maintain common areas, support basic building upkeep, and work closely with maintenance and management to keep the community running smoothly.

• $19/hour, paid weekly
• Scheduled Monday–Friday, with shifts of 8:00am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:30pm, as assigned

• Complete daily maintenance of parking lots, trash areas, dog waste stations, and outdoor spaces.
• Clean and maintain interior common areas, including hallways, stairwells, offices, and property amenities.
• Clean units after residents move out.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials.
• Landscaping such as weekly grass cutting, weed whacking, pruning, branch maintenance, rock bed maintenance, mulching, and weeding from March through October.
• Snow removal and salting as needed, including clearing sidewalks, staircases, parking spots, driveways, and entrances.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, removing trash from unit turns, changing mailbox locks, and handling small turnover items.
• Other projects as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

• 1+ year of professional cleaning experience
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal and reliable mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases

• Servant hearted
• Team player who can work independently
• Comfortable working within established processes
• Strong commitment to timely and accurate work
