Location: Metroparks Brecksville Nature Center - Sunday - Saturday, 7 days a week

Metroparks Seneca Golf Course - Monday - Friday

Metroparks Sleepy Hollow Golf Course - Monday - Friday

Shift: 5:30pm - 9:30pm

FLSA: Nonexempt

Must have the ability to reliably commute to multiple locations within a designated shift.

The Custodian will be responsible for performing general office and facility cleaning duties, including but not limited to:

• Vacuuming, dusting and damp mopping of floors.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs and office space.
• Cleaning, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces, including water fountains and sinks.
• Emptying and cleaning wastebaskets and trash containers and handling recycling materials.
• Sanitizing bathrooms.
• Light kitchen cleaning.
• Operating a power vacuum.
• Selecting proper chemicals, controlling dilution ratios, and using proper cleaning techniques.
• Following manufacturer recommendations for all cleaning solutions.
• Adhering to the daily job routine in the outlined order.
• Using the correct step‑by‑step procedures for each cleaning task.
• Following all safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Ensuring a level of cleanliness that meets the quality expectations of the customer.
• Maintaining regular attendance.
• Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating positively with customers, vendors, program participants, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• Following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work on holidays that fall on scheduled days.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple sites during the assigned shift.
