Description

The Cleveland Museum of Art has 2nd and 3rd position available for a Facility Technician. The Facility Technicians provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.

The Cleveland Museum of Art has 2nd and 3rd position available for a Facility Technician. The Facility Technicians provide routine and advanced operating and maintenance support to all building mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, automation, lighting, snow melt and ancillary systems.

Must be able to work weekends.



Minimum Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school specializing in HVAC and one to two years of related experience/training. Previous experience in all aspects of HVAC and building maintenance required, as well as prior knowledge of plumbing, pipe-fitting, refrigeration, and steam technology. Previous experience with digital sling, fire equipment, saws, torches, electric meters, air monitors, circuit tracers, manual and hydraulic lifts, and assorted hand tools.

Self-starter. Must possess strong team orientation and substantial leadership skills. Computer literate. Previous experience with Siemens or similar building automation system extremely desirable. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or more. Available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Hours of work:40 hours/week
