• Cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors and any surface needing cleaning attention.
• Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dusts furniture and equipment, polishes metal work.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains assigned areas.
• Able to provide information and directions to inquiring guests.
• Completes all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
• Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
• Restocks supplies (paper products) and chemicals in the work area as needed.
• Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood‑borne pathogens are involved.
• Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom, etc.).
• Removes trash as assigned.
• Removes or transports items from one area to another as assigned.

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to continuously perform repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motion.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
• Responds to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
• Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be a team player.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.
• Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.
