Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join a dynamic law firm in Cleveland, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position focuses on supporting the litigation team within the real estate division. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to trial preparation, drafting legal documents, and managing case files.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and organize trial materials, ensuring all necessary documents are ready for litigation proceedings.

- Draft and file legal documentation related to real estate cases, adhering to court requirements and deadlines.

- Conduct discovery tasks, including gathering and reviewing evidence, and managing related communications.

- Utilize case management software to track and update case progress, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.

- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to develop case strategies and manage workloads effectively.

- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of case preparation and documentation.

- Assist in civil litigation processes, including research and procedural support.

- Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations during case handling.

- Actively contribute to a team-oriented environment by sharing insights and problem-solving strategies. Requirements - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably within litigation.

- Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certification are highly preferred.

- Proficient in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes.

- Familiarity with case management software and other legal technology tools.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment while managing individual responsibilities.

- Problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges effectively.

- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and tools as needed.
