This role is for a 3-6 year Construction Litigation Associate to sit in their Cincinnati, Columbus, or Cleveland offices. You should have experience with construction defect, delays, breach of contract claims, and design negligence.
Responsibilities- Managing a variety of construction litigation matters including contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, and payment disputes.
- Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to resolve disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and related documents.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on construction law matters.
- Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various construction law issues.
- Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the best representation for our clients.
- Keeping up to date with changes in construction law and informing clients of any changes that may affect their business.
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction litigation.
- Proficient in dispute resolution with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Admitted to practice law in the state or willing to obtain admission.
- A strong understanding of construction law and the construction industry.
- We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Permanent Construction Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispute resolution, with a focus on construction litigation. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in construction litigation.
- Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year
- 4 weeks PTO
- An additional 12 weeks of parental leave
