Overview

Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Trust & Estates/Probate Paralegal to join the team at one of our most well-respected law firm clients! The firm is proud if its longstanding history as one of Ohio's premier full-service law firms!

The role is hybrid, with four days onsite in Cleveland, one remote day a week, and some flexibility for additional remote days.

• Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of probate documents and petitions in Probate Court.
• Manage full cycle estate and trust administration processes
• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives under attorney supervision.
• Prepare and file documents for the transfer of assets, including deeds, beneficiary designations, and assignments.
• Prepare federal and estate tax, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns.
• Conduct legal and factual research related to estate and tax matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized files and calendars to track deadlines and case progress.

• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Minimum of two years of experience in trust & estates and probate law.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with e-filing in courts and taxing authorities
• Experience with tax software is a huge plus
