Data Analyst, IT Consultant
Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. You will gather and refine technical requirements while driving enhancements to developer onboarding and API publishing workflows.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business AnalystJob Responsibilities Include
- Conduct detailed analysis of business and technical requirements to support developer portal enhancements, API documentation, and integration workflows.
- Oversee the structure, usability, and continuous improvement of developer portals to ensure intuitive navigation, seamless onboarding, and high‑quality API reference experiences.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure sandbox environments effectively support partner and internal testing needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive API guides, authentication flow documentation, and integration best practices.
- Collaborate with UX teams to refine developer tools and interfaces, improving clarity and overall developer experience.
- Lead stakeholder workshops to gather feedback, monitor integration metrics, and drive enhancements that improve developer satisfaction and time‑to‑first‑call (TTFC).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands‑on exposure to Developer Portals and API documentation.
- Proven ability to gather and translate technical requirements for API publishing, sandbox environments, and integration workflows.
- Strong experience working with Drupal or similar CMS platforms and collaborating with engineering/UX teams to enhance developer experiences.

Pay Details$49.00 to $56.00 per hour
