Job Description
Our client is seeking a Manager of Technical Operations to lead a team of engineers at our Glenwillow, Ohio Data Center. This role focuses on managing a team that maintains and optimizing 24/7 real-time transaction systems for Central Gaming Platforms. The ideal candidate will oversee system performance, ensure operational reliability, mentor technical staff, and coordinate cross-functional support. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for solving complex operational challenges are essential.
Responsibilities- Managing, supporting, mentoring a team of Tech Ops Engineers who will be responsible for the following:
- Production support
- System monitoring and maintenance
- Automation + Scripting
- Performance tuning
- Terminal connectivity
- Incident management + troubleshooting
- Collaboration w/ cross functional teams
- Documentation + reporting
Salary range: $115,000.
- 125,000.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience
- Experience leading cross Team communication
- Advanced technical understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, networking).
- Base knowledge of Windows operations systems
- 80% Linux / 20% Windows
- Professional experience with Bash scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Containerization – professional experience with containerization application management
- Kubernetes or Rancher (or similar tool)
- Ansible – for Infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Soft skills:
- High Character and hard work

- Problem solver
- Technical awareness – ability to troubleshoot and lead engineers to problem solve, and know when to elevate to the next level
- Goal is to continuously improve the function and efficiency of the Technical Operations
