Job Description
The Senior Application & Data Integration Analyst will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise applications with a strong emphasis on SQL-based data analysis, system integrations, and vendor‑managed platforms. This role works closely with business stakeholder teams (Finance, Accounting, Operations) and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions And Primary Duties- Serve as the primary technical analyst for SQL-based applications, data integrations and data‑centric troubleshooting
- Design, analyze, and optimize SQL data models, stored procedures, and ETL processes
- Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and transformation
- Perform ad‑hoc data analysis and complex SQL queries to support business needs
- Debug, enhance, and optimize existing SQL code written by internal teams or vendors
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze issues, and deliver enhancements
- Support finance‑related applications with understanding of GL, AP, AR, and related processes
- Perform data maintenance, identify root causes of data issues, and coordinate fixes with the business and vendors
- Coordinate with vendors on application upgrades and patches, scheduling and execution, UAT, communication and release planning
- Lead and execute change management activities using ITSM methodologies
- Manage user access and security for vendor systems
- Respond to SOX audit requests and support quarterly/monthly audit submissions
- Provide ongoing production support for SQL, integrations, and vendor applications
- Background in Finance, Accounting, or Employee Benefits systems
- Working knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Alteryx workflows
- API integration experience (REST/SOAP)
- College Degree or equivalent
- 6 years related experience
- Expert technical knowledge
- Knowledge of industry regulations
- Ability to lead and coordinate team activities of others
- Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
- Able to work in and lead a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on‑call availability
