Oracle EBS; R12 Technical Consultant

Akkodis is seeking an Oracle EBS (R12) Technical Consultant for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH. This role supports end‑to‑end data conversion, customization, and technical development within Oracle EBS R12.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $68/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Analyze legacy data structures and define end‑to‑end data conversion strategies, including mapping rules, staging tables, and validation scripts.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL programs, Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and automated data transformation routines to support large‑volume data migration.
• Prepare and execute unit, SIT, UAT, and cutover testing, performing pre‑ and post‑migration data quality checks and reconciliation.
• Customize and debug Oracle Forms, Reports (BI/XML Publisher), Workflows, and Concurrent Programs to meet functional and business requirements.
• Create technical design documents (MD50/MD70), maintain conversion logs, and collaborate with functional, DBA, and infrastructure teams for performance tuning.
• Provide go‑live cutover support, troubleshoot post‑production issues, and communicate risks, progress, and technical dependencies to project managers and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of IT experience with extensive hands‑on work in Oracle EBS R12 technical development and data conversion.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Unix shell scripting, and Oracle EBS R12 components such as APIs, open interfaces, Forms, Reports, and Workflow.
• Demonstrated experience in large‑volume data migration, including creating conversion strategies, mapping rules, validation scripts, and executing SIT/UAT/cutover testing.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $68.00 per hour
