The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership across cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive system and product architectures that align with enterprise-wide technology strategies.
This role evaluates architectural challenges, develops conceptual and logical designs, and ensures solutions integrate seamlessly with the broader IT ecosystem.
The architect will guide teams in resolving system weaknesses, improving performance and maintainability, and ensuring all delivered solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance in designing and implementing complex, integrated frameworks, systems, and platforms that support organizational technology and business objectives.
- Lead the development of application components and integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, performance goals, and business requirements.
- Establish and implement best practices and standards for hardware/software compatibility, system interfaces, and technical design specifications.
- Continuously research industry trends, technologies, and architectural advancements to inform solution design.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including developers, analysts, enterprise architects, and product managers—to drive adoption of scalable architectural practices.
- Provide strategic direction on architectural frameworks, reusable patterns, and standards across multiple systems or product areas.
- Evaluate, select, and support implementation of next-generation technology initiatives; guide teams through complex technical issues.
- Lead technical evaluations to ensure new solutions align with existing architectural frameworks.
- Champion architectural excellence and support teams in adopting mature design and implementation practices.
- Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders to ensure products and solutions align with architectural principles, policies, and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience (minimum 10 years in IT if no degree).
- 8+ years of experience in IT or solution architecture roles.
- Proven experience designing complex hardware and software solutions for large-scale environments.
- Extensive knowledge of modern architecture patterns, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies, data center operations, network design, and security practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for cross-functional engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated innovation and creative thinking.
- Technical proficiency in:
- Cloud technologies and platforms
- Web services, APIs, microservices, and SOA
- Data analysis and data architecture
- Architecture governance and standards
- Data warehousing and ETL processes
- SDLC methodologies
- Emerging technologies and automation tools
- Software testing and QA methodologies
- Business strategy and change management
- Strong experience in planning or manufacturing execution/quality modules
- Background with Oracle Fusion and integrations with upstream/downstream systems
- Hands‑on architectural experience with diagrams, code reviews, and integration pattern definitions
- Working knowledge of multi‑cloud environments and data pipelines spanning Oracle Fusion, OCI/OIC, Azure, and AWS
- Ability to clearly document designs and communicate across technical and non‑technical teams
- Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion manufacturing, purchasing, and planning modules.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud, Blue Yonder, o9, or Kinaxis planning solutions.
- Experience with cloud‑based Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Experience with Python development.
- Experience architecting hybrid integrations between cloud and on‑prem systems using Azure Service Bus or equivalent technologies.
